Are you a Leader? Do you want to help your school? Do you want to help your Community? Then…..Join the ELW Junior Beta Club! Requirements to join are:
- All grades from previous school year must be an 80 or above.
- Each member must complete 15 hours of community service on their own.
- There is a fee of $16.00 for first time members (National Beta Club Membership and Pin).
The Beta Club is open to all qualified students. Club Applications are due by September 30th. Applications are available in paper form from Mrs. Templeton in Room 608 or from Mr. Bare in Room 707.
Richland Two schools will make up the school day that was missed on September 5th on Thursday, October 17th. Additionally, Friday, October 18th, will now become a student holiday/teacher workday.
The Lady Warriors is a mentoring program at E.L. Wright Middle School that provides leadership development opportunities for young ladies. The overall goal of the program is to build leadership abilities through mentoring, community service projects, and community outreach. Andre Roberts, a former student-athlete at E.L. Wright, went on to graduate from Spring Valley and then attended the Citadel. He was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the third round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He is currently a receiver and return specialist for the Buffalo Bills. Yesterday, he made the following Instagram post about his football career starting at E.L. Wright. We wish you the best of luck on your upcoming season, Andre!
