I was born and raised in Arizona, and earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Arizona State University. I continued my education at Northern Arizona University where I attended for my Master’s Degree. I hold teaching endorsements for Early Childhood Education, English Language Learner Instruction, and Middle Level Mathematics. This year marks my eleventh year of teaching. I have taught grades 4 through 8 during my career in Arizona, Florida, and South Carolina. I currently teach 7th grade math and Algebra I. I believe that being a professional educator is one of the most important jobs in our society. I have the opportunity to impact hundreds of lives each year, and get to learn so many new things in the process from the students I teach. I love the challenge of creating and delivering lessons that engage students, and empower them to succeed. I love working with children! I consider myself a newlywed. My husband of 4 years and I recently moved to South Carolina from Florida. Along with our dog Allie, we are enjoying exploring the area and meeting new people. I enjoy being outdoors. I like to hike, fish, and explore the rivers in my kayak. I also enjoy scrapbooking and making handmade cards. I also teach a few classes at Michael’s as well. I’m honored to be a part of the E.L. Wright team this year. It is a great place to work, and a great place to succeed!
