I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education at Clemson in 2001, and I earned my Master’s of Middle Level Education at Winthrop in 2005. This is my 17th year teaching. I taught for one year at Castle Heights Middle School in Rock Hill, and I have taught at E. L. Wright since 2002. I have currently teach 6th grade Math, but have also taught Science during my career. I became an educator because I want to help students succeed and be productive citizens. I encourage my students to have a love of math and learn to be successful in it. My greatest joy is seeing my students later in life and learning of their successes. My husband, Kevin, and I have 2 boys, a 9 year old named Carter and a 4 year old named Parker. In my free time, I like to exercise and spend time with my family. I was born and raised in Southern Louisiana, Cajun Country!
