Faculty & Staff Spotlight: Sean Samon

I graduated from USC, and I have a degree in Middle-Level Education with an emphasis in both ELA and Science. Go Gamecocks! I plan on beginning a Master’s degree program in Educational Administration soon at USC. This is my 2nd year at E.L. Wright, and I teach 7th grade ELA. I am a teacher because I truly believe that there is nothing more important, more world-changing, or more satisfying than teaching. My students are the future of this country; I believe that, and I take the responsibility that comes with it seriously. The majority of my family lives in New York, but my immediate family resides here in South Carolina. I read when I make time for it. I also like to run, and love to travel to different places. I am always in search of a festival or cultural event to attend. Remember, reading is essential, but so is food! #Tacos
